Woodpecker Joinery has experience of exporting greenhouses to all over the Scandic countries. As we make all our greenhouses we can make adaptions to our standard designs. Usually are adaptations are to prepare the greenhouse for increased and prolonged snow loads. We can also design our greenhouses with different pitches to match other buildings standing int he same landscape.

We offer an installation service for Norway for an additional fee. Having Woodpecker install your greenhouse gives you reassurance the building is installed correctly as intended and the same level of quality finish that we provide in the UK. We usually visit Scandinavia for greenhouse installations every three months. We try to create trips with multiple installs to share the costs and offer a practical price for our install service.

We can offer a self-install service for customers wishing to purchase one of our smaller round greenhouses, or a traditional greenhouse of up to 11 sqm. Beyond this size, we recommend you consider our installation service.

To cope with the more prolonged snow loads in Norway we add aluminum structural steelwork to the design of the building. The system we install is a discreet system, and as it constructed from aluminum. Just like the cedar timber frame of our greenhouses, the metal work is low maintenance.

Many enquiries we receive from the Scandic countries request their greenhouse to be fitted with a stove for maintaining the temperature of the greenhouse through the winter months. Although we cannot offer a stove as part of our greenhouse package, we can design the greenhouse so you can easily fit a stove after installation.
